LIFE TEEN is an international Catholic Parish-based Youth Ministry that serves teens by helping them grow in their faith and become closer to Christ by providing resources, training, and opportunities to participate in vibrant Eucharist celebrations.

Here in Ljubljana the first Slovene LifeTeen Parish was established at our neighbor parish in 2002 and then moved to its current location in the Center of the town together with responsible priest.
Our Sunday LifeTeen Celebration begins with Holly Mass accompanied by contemporary choir on Saturdays at 7pm and The LIFE night (we call it the "PULSE evening") begins right after mass from 8.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. There are about 200 people coming at the LifeTeen mass from different Parishes where there is currently no Youth Ministry (!?). The youth coming to the PULSE evening (i.e. LIFE night) range in ages from 14-19. Last year we started a Youth Project called METANOIA (translated edition soon), which includes a Youth Multimedia Team, creative workshops, and educational courses.

About LifeTeen in EUROPE
There is a LifeTeen Program in several European countries: Netherlands (6 Parishes), Scotland, Ireland, England (not anymore, sorry), Germany, Italy and Slovenia.

To link LifeTeen Parishes all over Europe, an e-mail group was founded. So, it is: “European Catholic Youth Ministry Cooperation e-Group for The Third Millennium - witnessing The Passion of Jesus Christ to every Man on Earth and Leading teens closer to Christ. Here we gather to initiate future International Cooperation and Union of the LifeTeen Parishes in Europe.”
The goal of forming an Active Youth Ministry Network is to provide Prayer Support, a place to exchange each Parish Groups experiences about their regular and Outreach activities, coordinating the European Youth Exchange program, hosting Training Conferences and International Summer Camps and much much more.
If You come from an European country with a Parish LifeTeen Program - or from any other Catholic group (scouts, youth club or organisation)-, You are invited to join the LifeTeen EU network group and put our prayers for a better world into action.
